Description
This is a perfect option, if you are in the Santa Barbara area and riding alone. It is an out and back on a fire road, but affords amazing views and a fun downhill on the way back. Be advised that this is a multi-use trail and be prepared to encounter equestrian and moto traffic.
Staging
Day use fee is $10. The Upper Oso Campground day use lot is paved and closest to the trailhead. There are bathrooms with running water and a gate with an aMTB friendly ride-around.
The Route
This is an out and back. Camuesa Peak is nine miles, but you can turn around anywhere.
